Transfers to Tignes


Our FREE * (Option 1) transfers are arranged exclusively for our catered chalet clients on a Saturday and Sunday from Geneva Airport to Tignes.
Safety is always at the forefront of our thoughts, therefore complimentary booster and child seats are available. Please request when making a booking.


For our BUDGET chalet - LAVACHET LODGE, transfers are only available subject to availability and at the reduced shared cost of just £59 per person return! (Or £35 one way)

Option 1: Inclusive GENEVA COACH transfer


Chalets included: LES MARTINS / LA TOURNE / ALASKA
- No additional money to pay!
- Either your flights tie in with the inclusive transfer times, or you are happy to wait!
- Where possible Alpine Sherpa will always try their best to move transfer times closer to help, but will only be able to confirm the Thursday before your travel.

NB - The below inclusive shared transfers are offered for all CLASSIC catered chalet clients.

Coach departing Geneva 12:30pm

Tignes to Geneva
Coach arriving at Geneva 8.30am


Option 1: Inclusive GENEVA MINIBUS transfer


Chalets included: AIGLE ROYAL / LA PERLE / LYS MARTAGON / RAMO
- No additional money to pay!
- Either your flights tie in with the inclusive transfer times, or you are happy to wait!
- Where possible Alpine Sherpa will always try their best to move transfer times closer to help, but will only be able to confirm the Thursday before your travel.

NB - Our inclusive shared MINIBUS transfers are offered for all PREMIUM catered chalet clients.

Geneva to Tignes
Bus 1 Departing Geneva 11am
Bus 2 Departing Geneva 4pm**

Tignes to Geneva
Bus 1 Arriving at Geneva 8am**
Bus 2 Arriving at Geneva 2pm

OUTBOUND LEG - To give Alpine Sherpa the best chance of being flexible with your transfer, book your flight to land in the afternoon instead of the morning!
RETURN LEG – Traffic leaving resort gets heavier as the day goes on, so book a morning flight to ensure less time spent on the road!

Option 2: Transfer time guarantee:

- Guarantee your transfer times – should you wish an exact collection/drop-off time, then why not enquire to take a private upgrade.
- This is usually quoted at a reduced empty seat price of £45 each way for the number of empty seats to fill the minibus, which will effectively give you a private transfer!
OUTBOUND LEG – The ability to choose your collection time from Geneva / Chambery between the hours of 10am & 5pm / 11am & 5pm respectively.
RETURN LEG – The ability to choose your drop off back to Geneva / Chambery anytime between 8am & 3pm / 8am & 1pm respectively.

Option 3: Private transfer – ANY TIME!

- If you have limited flight options, then perhaps a private transfer may be the best option for you.
- This means that you could be collected or dropped off early in the morning or late at night!
As a guideline, a minibus seating up to 8 passengers will cost €339 each way.

Option 4: Private transfer – other airports

- For Grenoble or Lyon, Alpine Sherpa may be able to offer an option, subject to availability.
As a guideline, a minibus seating up to 8 passengers will cost €388 each way, including a 10% discount if a TCC client.

Transfer by minibus from Geneva to Tignes usually takes around 2 hours 45 including a comfort break. The transfer drivers use the new section of auto route, which has of course improved both the comfort and time of the journey.

The TCC prides itself in its prompt pick-up and drop-off service. Clients will usually have a minibus to themselves, which is quick, safe and efficient. Each minibus seats 8 passengers.

Train to Bourg St. Maurice

For those who choose to use the EuroStar train, transfers from Bourg St. Maurice Train Stations may be available.
Transfer times are 40 mins and we may be able to give you a £20 per person discount, dependent on numbers and also your train time.
